Color a Cartoon Scene

Image
I had so much fun with this assignment. I chose a cartoon setting, in my case a diner, then we colored in characters and placed them into the background. I loved making a story out of the few things in my image. I hope you like it too!

Bird Coloring Page

Image
For this project, I selected a simple bird coloring page, and images of feather. I dragged each individual feather onto the bird picture until i filled the entire thing. Then, I cut out the background and put in a custom gradient.

Zendoodle Coloring Page

Image
This assignment is called the zendoodle coloring page. It was very tedious but I enjoyed creating this bright, colorful masterpiece. For this project, I chose a zendoodle, then colored in each section a different color, like a digital coloring page! I chose this particular zendoodle because I loved the patterns and simplicity.

Where's Simone?

Image
I absolutely loved this assignment! It was very time-consuming, and I ran out of ideas on more than one occasion, but I got to express myself through all the tiny images I put together. The goal of the assignment is to hide yourself wearing the "Where's Waldo?" outfit somewhere in the collage. The smaller the photos are, the harder Waldo is to find. In total, I have over 250 layers/photos!!

Albrecht Durer

This is the Albrecht Durer assignment, where we took a picture, cut out the background, and added a black and white filter

Edward Gorey

Image
This is the Edward Gorey assignment, where we used the "cookie cutter" tool to create the solid black shapes. Edward Gorey is an artist who makes black and white drawings with dark rhymes, so we made a rhyme with our name that matches the picture. I enjoyed this project because we got to learn and experiment new skills.
